RCS

RCS

The standard RCS was established in 2007 by Textile/Organic Exchange and refers in its requirements to the superordinate Content Claim Standard (CCS). In order to label respective articles with RCS, the complete supply chain has to be certified by RCS. Articles labelled with the RCS-logo must contain a minimum of 5% recycled fibre material in the product. This must originate from either pre- or post-consumer material. The RCS does neither take into account social and environmental criteria, nor accessories or chemicals. It rather focuses on traceability and verification of recycled fibre material within the complete supply chain.

Benefit to customer
